Muara Kuin Floating Market is a traditional floating market is located on the river at the mouth of the Barito river Kuin, Banjarmasin, South Borneo.


Muara Kuin Floating Market is an heirloom saujana Banjarmasin. The merchants and buyers to use boats, boats in a language called Banjar. This market started after Fajr prayer until after seven in the morning. Sunrise reflected light in the transaction of vegetables and garden produce from the villages along the Barito river and its tributaries.

Boating women traders who sell their products themselves or a neighbor called the hamlet, while the second hand purchase from the hamlet called panyambangan for resale. Keistemewaan this market is still common barter transactions between the merchants boating, which is in a language called Banjar bapanduk.

Kuin floating market is now likely extinct following a change in the land market. Many tourists visiting Kuin had to swallow disappointment of not finding the exotic market stretching over the water.
