Maimoon Palace From Medan

Maimoon palace is one of the iconic city of Medan, North Sumatra, located in Talbot village, subdistrict of Medan Maimun.

Designed by Italian architect and built by Sultan Deli, Ma'mun Al Rashid Perkasa Alam in 1888, Maimoon Palace has an area of ​​2,772 m2 and 30 rooms.

Maimoon palace became a tourist destination not only because of old age, but also its unique interior design, combining elements of Malay cultural heritage, in the style of Islam, Spain, India and Italy, but unfortunately the situation is not taken care of now. If we pass this place in the afternoon, we even get to see the kids playing football in the palace courtyard.
