Cibodas Botanical

Cibodas Botanical Gardens or Forest Park (Botanic Garden), located in Mount Gede Forest Complex Pangrango, Village Cimacan, Pacet, Cianjur. Bumpy field and the topography is hilly with the altitude of 1275 m above sea level, air temperature 17 to 27 degrees Celsius.



This garden was founded in 1852 by Johannes Elias Teijsmann as a branch of the Bogor Botanical Gardens on location at the foot of Mount Gede. With a 2380 mm rainfall per year and an average temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, this botanical garden devoted to the collection of plants of wet tropical highlands, such as various conifers and ferns.
